This
cuckoo clock was located in Kaiser Friedrich Square in 1946. The
Square was completely destroyed in World War II. The clock was not
ruined and it was placed as a store front near Wilhelmstrasse in
1950.
This store in
Wiesbaden claims to have the "World's Largest Cuckoo Clock". It sells
souvenirs to the many tourists and children who gather around to watch
the "cuckoo bird" come out every 30 minutes. When the door opens
on the hour, a little Bavarian boy and girl come out to dance to the music.
