ACCREDITATION
(NORTH CENTRAL ASSOCIATION OF COLLEGES AND SCHOOLS)
The school was initially evaluated
and earned the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools accreditation
in May 1980 by meeting those conditions and standards of excellence defined
by the NCA.
Every
five years our school is visited by representatives of the North Central
Accreditation Association (NCA) in order to update our school's accreditation
certificate, to evaluate the School Improvement Plan that the staff developed
and to ensure that all teachers are supporting current DoDEA initiatives.
To earn accreditation, schools must:
- Meet quality standards. Click here to view the standards http://www.ncacasi.org/standard. (external site)
- Implement a school improvement plan focused on increasing student performance.
- Host an external review team.
- Document the results of their school improvement efforts.
