Outdated medicines go to the German pharmacies.  They are called "Apotheken".

Did you know?
Medicine containers should be sealed with tape and marked  "Altmedikamente" before taking them to the pharmacy
Medicines must never be flushed down the toilet or sink drain
 

Tires 

These can go to:
The store where you buy your new tires
Home Improvement Store on Mississippi Strasse in Hainerberg housing

Did you know? 
  The store where you bought your new tires is required by law to take your old tires free of charge.

Batteries 

These can go to:
Shoppette at Hainerberg or Wiesbaden Air Field for small batteries
Front hall of Hainerberg Elementary School for small batteries
Automotive battery should be returned from the place of purchase.
