SAMPLE OF GIFTED EDUCATION PROGRESS REPORT
and the Descriptors for the grading system
This progress report is given quarterly.  The student is re-evaluated by the classroom teacher and Gifted Education specialist for the next quarter.  It is a necessary component that the student maintain high academic standards  in the regular classroom.

These are the grades with descriptors.   Projects are graded accordeing to the project descriptors as listed below. A grade of "2" is considered very good and is where the student should be for this class.  The grades of "3" and "4" provide upward mobility for the student grades in projects.   Students are encouraged to do quality work. It is important that students and parents realize that number grades do not equate with letter grades A,B,C,D.
